I’m not much of a blogger. But wedding blogs saved me from insanity while preparing for my own wedding, so this became my stream of consciousness. I’ve now become rather obsessed with sewing and knitting so here I record the things I make and read. Yes, I realise I’m not succinct.

    Hi!
I’m very excited to have just stumbled across your website!!! Thanks for what you’re doing. Long story short, I got engaged in mid-November, and here is it…mid-March, and I have almost no concrete plans! My fiance is pretty bummed about this…

(Sorry…I’m writing this after a full work day, and it’s almost 2 am, so my mind’s a little scattered.) Anyways, I’m wondering if there’s any way to get ahold of the bride who had the awesome pastel, tulle, and vintage bridesmaid dresses you featured in your blog. It’s JUST what I’m looking for for my girls. Do you know where she found the dresses?

I plan on visiting your blog again very soon to get more ideas! Thanks again for your help. I’m desperate!! lol

    Blessings,
    Lori Triplett

    Hi Lori,
I’m sorry it took me a while to get back to you. I realised after your message that I didn’t link my post to the correct page on Snippet & Ink at the time. However, I’ve gone back and checked and have put the right link into my post now. The wedding you are looking for was featured on Snippet & Ink in December 2008 – http://snippetandink.blogspot.com/2008/12/real-wedding-saturday-lexy-jared.html

I don’t know where the bride & her bridesmaids found their dresses, but I think they were vintage finds. It appears from the post that the bride’s cousin is a wedding planner, so you might be able to follow the links to contact her to find out – but otherwise I don’t know where the dresses were from I’m sorry.

Good luck with everything. It took me many months to have concrete plans too – don’t worry you will get there! If there are any other pictures you need explanation about or have any other questions, please feel free to sing out.

    Manas
