This is everything once the flowers were arranged in the containers and the candles organised. I rather like the idea of putting tealights in wine glasses – coloured glass preferably – but none were to be found today for the trial run. But for today tealights in small tealight holders, one in a painted wine glass and the pillar candle in an old jar did the trick.
The small-looking silver jug required a lot more daises to fill than I anticipated – always the way with small flowers! I used a couple of shot glasses for individual dahlia flowers too. After all this, I still had a couple of dahlia flowers left and a good few daisy stems. Heaps of rosemary still – but that’s for later!
The photos aren’t terrific today – please excuse.
